Devendra Fadnavis is a young chief minister who will be completing a full-term after a gap of 47 years. Maharashtra has never had such a dashing, young, grounded politician who has run a stable government since 1972. Vibrant and youthlike energy have never been seen in the long term by any CM in Maharashtra. When Devendra Fadnavis took over as CM, very few had expected him to complete the full term but his policies, his working style and his attitude towards fast and reliable governance have changed the way millions think about him. He is no more a Brahmin base CM but he has established himself as a true political leader backing each and every section of the society and that’s the reason Maharashtra is moving fast in infrastructure development & economy.
In this current election, all the odds are suggesting that CM Devendra Fadnavis will again sit on this chair and take the responsibility to take Maharashtra ahead. If we talk about some of the greatest achievements of Devendra Fadnavis Government or why Devendra Fadnavis is set to come back again then we have to see YES – Young, Empowered, Secured
Young Maharashtra:
State Government under the leadership of young and dynamic CM Devendra Fadnavis has ensured that the infrastructure & economy of the state should grow. Be it ease of doing business, or job creation or metro projects; Devendra Fadnavis government has ensured the state’s growth. Some of the big reforms like Metro Projects in Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, the launch of portals like “Aaple Sarkar”, construction of new airports has kept the young life of Maharashtra on the priority. In terms of attracting FDI, Maharashtra is no. 1 in India. 24 hours electricity, pure drinking water availability and opportunities to set up new industries – everything has been taken care of by this young and dynamic CM.
Empowered Maharashtra:
One of the biggest issues in Maharashtra was droughts in some major parts. One can fight the world with no electricity but without water – it’s like fighting with your own self. Devendra Fadnavis government empowered the state by taking some most important measures and schemes like JAL YUKT SHIVAR, Crop Insurance, Loan Waiver, etc. for the farmers and villagers. The countryside is the backbone of this state. Jal Yukt Shivar almost cured the problem of droughts and benefitted more than 1 crore people. Excessive rain or no rain can damage the crops and in such cases, it is very important on the part of the Government side to stand by our brothers and sisters. Devendra Fadnavis’s government disbursed more insurance money in the first year of his tenure than his predecessors has disbursed in the last 15 years. Fadnavis government took special initiatives and interest in empowering villages of Maharashtra & this has changed a lot of dynamics in Maharashtra politics.
Secured Maharashtra:
Maharashtra was going through major security crisis for so long. Terrorist attacks were common almost every damn year. Attracting investments becomes very difficult when the state is unsecured. Maharashtra definitely took so many efforts in standing up again and again after every attack. But when Devendra Fadnavis took over as CM – Maharashtra had a new sunrise. In the last 5 years, we have seen Maharashtra like never before. We are more secure, more powerful, more aware and alert. There has been no bomb-blast, or terrorist attacks in the state in the last 5 years – which itself is a very big achievement of this government. Not just that, CM Devendra Fadnavis has ensured that all aspects of security to be taken care of. He started Online System for Police, Crime Conviction Rates has improved drastically, CCTVs and WIFIs have been installed in major areas, 24×7 patrolling units have been deployed and cyber cell has been activated to detect potential threats.
So, basically in short, as a youngster, I am sure we were right last time & thus this time I urge my fellow Maharashtrians to go and vote for Devendra Fadnavis because he made us say YES Maharashtra.
